Jessica Lowndes, 27, announced her engagement to 58-year-old Jon Lovitz

This is easily the weirdest story I’ve written about today. Jessica Lowndes is 27 years old. She’s famous for the 90210 reboot, and she’s famous for being a pretty and somewhat fashionable young woman in Hollywood. Like, a lot of the sites that run bikini photos every day love Lowndes. I’ve never had an opinion on her, really. I think she’s pretty and sexy but not noteworthy. Well, it seems that Jessica has been quietly dating a famous man for a while. And that famous man is… 58-year-old Jon Lovitz. Does this feel like a Funny or Die skit to anyone else? It feels like this is part of a new season of Punk’d or something.

Despite their 30-year age difference and the utter strangeness of this pairing, Lowndes and Lovitz insist that they are really together. Not only that, they’re now insisting that they’re engaged. She even posted a photo of her diamond engagement ring:

So… yeah. It’s not an issue of “getting hacked” or whatever – Jessica was really posting all of this to her social media, and Lovitz was too. They are confirming that they are together and likely engaged. While they’re both adults – and at 27, she’s old enough to know what she’s doing – it does feel… weird. Odd. Strange. Hm. Oh, and this video is the worst. This just shows that she’s a terrible actress.
